Birds in the backyard

I am lucky to have a backyard frequented by all sorts of critters.  In the Summer I am visited by opossums, raccoons, fox, rabbits, groundhogs and even bear. In the Winter usually only the squirrels, deer and turkey visit everyday.  I enjoy the deer the most. Unfortunately, I think because of the heavy snow topped with a crust of ice the deer haven’t been around.  No turkey today either. So today I spent some time watching, and photographing the birds. The Winter visitors to my feeders never miss a meal.  This afternoon I watched house sparrows, juncos, tufted titmice, black capped chickadees and nuthatches at the feeder.
